About

It was June 6, 1985 when we left Fort Worth, TX and arrived in Wichita, KS. We brought our two sons, Jonathan and Jared who were 3 and 1 respectively. Since that momentous day, we have watched God bless the ministry of NewSpring Church and our family tremendously. Our family grew to include our third son, Stephen, our daughters-in-law, Wendy, Jessica and Elle and our grandchildren, Cheyenne, Summer, Audrey, Liam, Sophie and Zeke. Our church family has grown to over 6,000 people who meet each week to discover the excitement God has for us as He transforms our lives.

    Dear Pastor Hoover, I just had to send you a note about tonight’s service (May-30th) Sat.Your sermon was one of the best I have ever heard! Death is not a easy subject to talk about, But your excitement and passion in sharing God’ word was uplifting and moving! Jerry and I so appiecate your passion for bringing forth God’s word..Your humor is wonderful and your compassion is gentle and sincere. It is so exciting to see how God uses you and your deication to him and Newspring church. WE are truly BLESSED to have you as our Pastor! May the Lord Bless you and your family as you contiune to do his work and share his love!
